Town Of Star Is Hiring A Town Clerk/finance Officer, The Clerk Is The Custodian Of Official Records. You Will Be Required To Attend Town Council Meetings, Perform Administrative Work, Prepare Agendas And Minutes, Strong Communication Skills And Proficiency In Office Practices Are Essential. Knowledge Of NC General Statutes And A Municipal Clerk Certification Are A Plus. Knowledge Of FMS Software A Plus. This Position Will Also Be Responsible For Finance Operations Including Budgeting, Grant Management, Cash Management, Accounts Payable And Payroll. Successful Candidates Should Have Knowledge Of Strong Administrative Skills, Ability To Work Without Supervision, And The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Town Staff, And Town Council.
